COVID-19 & ARMA Member Renewals—Grace Period Extension
We are all in this together. While our recent renewals have remained high, we realize that some ARMA members have lost their jobs or have been furloughed but need to maintain access to their ARMA network and ARMA resources.
The Board of Directors has approved an extension of our current 60-day grace period. Our policy in response to COVID’s impact is this: Members who are unemployed or furloughed due to the COVID-19 crisis will be granted an additional two-month membership-renewal grace period (from the current 60 days), upon written request via email.
Members will receive this extension information in their renewal notices and can update their records to a personal email address. If assistance is needed, contact ARMAservice@armaintl.org.
Impact on ARMA Chapters
In order to grant members an additional 60 days of membership, their renewal date is set for 60 days from their previous expiration. This is also the date they will renew their chapter dues and their ARMA International dues. The process for dues collection and distribution will remain the same. For those members who are granted an extension on their membership, you will see their membership renewal dates change by 60 days on all chapter reports in your chapter’s group area.
